A Clash of Kingdoms by Ray Vander Laan
Using part of the “That the World May Know” series, we will discover how Paul communicated the Good News of Christ to Philippi, a Roman colony that worshiped false gods. The narrator brings his-tory alive with information about the political powers of the time (Caesar Augustus and others) as well as the geographical and cultural context in which Paul was living. This study shows us what the culture and the world was like when Paul came to present-day Greece and how the challenges he faced are still in our own culture.
