The Congregation Council is the managing board of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. It includes the pastor, president, vice-president, treasurer and recording secretary. The chairpersons of each standing committee/ministry are also members. Its authority and responsibilities are detailed in the congregation’s constitution.
- The Council meets monthly to oversee and support the ministries and manage the business and fiscal affairs of the congregation.
- The Council schedules 2 semi-annual Congregational meetings each year, and if there is the need—any special Congregational meetings.
- Member terms are 2 years. Half the council is elected each year, per our constitution.
